A Camp Director’s Diary

A Collection of Stories from Overnight Camps across Canada by Catherine Ross, author of eight books on camps and camping

A Camp Director’s Diary is a collection of stories from overnight camps across Canada gathered over a lifetime of camping experience. To the uninitiated, camp is all about having fun, learning, and playing, mostly in the out of doors. But camp is so much more. At camp children become capable, caring, skilled, resilient, young people. Counsellors become strong, dependable leaders. Wonderful, challenging, exciting, humorous, and often unexpected events happen that provide an abundant source of great stories. The author is donating half of her proceeds of A Camp Director’s Diary to Kids in Camp charity to enable more children to enjoy a life-changing camp experience.

Including inspirational, informative tales from:

  • Harry Edwards (BC)

  • Jeff Bradshaw

  • Elaine Cole

  • Bill Stevens

  • Lisa Wilson (ON)

  • Dave Graham (NS)
