The Canadian Camping Association/Association des camps du Canada (CCA/ACC) announces May 1, 2012 as National Camp T-Shirt Day.
Camp directors, staff, counselors and campers will wear their camp clothing in anticipation of the great times to be experienced at camps across the country this summer.
Recent research at the University of Waterloo, Ontario, proves that campers benefit physically, socially and emotionally from the camp experience as well as developing a heightened awareness and appreciation of nature.
