Joanne Kates, Director of Camp Arowhon and author of many articles for The Globe & Mail,  wrote an article which was posted online called, “Why being a camp counsellor is great training for becoming a prime minister” (April 22, 2013). This article highlighted that Canada’s new Prime Minister Elect, Justin Trudeau, gained his leadership skills from his experiences at camp. Joanne’s newest article written Tuesday, October 27th reinforces the important role camp played in the Prime Minister Elect’s path in becoming our nation’s leader.
