Register now online for the 2017 International Camp Directors Course to be held on November 22 to November 26, 2017 at YMCA Camp Elphinstone, Gibsons, on the beautiful Sunshine Coast just north of Vancouver, British Columbia.
This professional development course is equally valuable for novice and experienced camp directors, managers and operators.
This Society of Camp Directors’ program promotes professional development of camp leaders by assisting with the payment of fees and expenses for a speaker at a provincial educational event.
The deadline for applications is November 30, 2016 to enable the committee to determine the result by mid December.
** Please note that Alberta received the funding in 2015 and Ontario in 2016 and are therefore not eligible to apply for 2017.
Plan to join the 2017 International Camping Fellowship Sponsored Tour, February 19-21, 2017, in Albuquerque, New Mexico, USA, just prior to the National American Camp Association Conference.
The tour highlighs Albuquerque area youth programs, camps, and local attractions. It is a wonderful opportunity to learn about other programs, meet camp directors, peers, and new friends.
The tour also includes sightseeing, and facilitated discussions of camps and youth programs in the US and around the world. Special activities and meals are planned to represent local culture and foods!

NEXT WEEK! We are delighted many of you are joining us for a tour of Georgia youth programs, camps, and local attractions. We are welcoming guests from Japan, Canada, Russia, Mongolia, Nigeria, Liberia, China, Hungary, Ireland and more! Participants will be staying at the Hyatt Place Airport South. The group will meet each morning at the Hyatt Place and returneach evening. Included are special activities plus meals planned to represent local culture and foods. YUM! Asia-Oceania Camping Congress-October 28-November 1, 2016-Tokoyo, Japan “Outreach-Camp for a Better Society”
Plan ahead! The 6th AOCC will be held this year in Tokyo, Japan. The National Camping Association of Japan, in cooperation with the Asia Oceania Camping Fellowship and the International Camping Fellowship send you a warm invitation to the Congress. The venue will be the National Olympic Memorial Youth Center. October 28-Nov 1, 2016.

This tour of Georgia youth programs, camps, and local attractions is open to everyone and will include, in addition to sightseeing, facilitated discussions of camp and youth programs in the US and around the world. Special activities and meals are planned to represent local culture and foods. The tour registration fee of $165 includes transportation, admission fees, snacks, and four meals. Participants are asked to make their own arrangements for accommodations at the Hyatt Place Airport South by clicking here, for a special group rate of $99 plus tax, per night. The group will meet each morning at the tour hotel for transportation to the scheduled sites, returning to the tour hotel each evening.
