HARRY EDWARDS OF BRITISH COLUMBIA ANNOUNCED AS INCOMING 29TH PRESIDENT OF CCA/ACCHarry Edwards de Colombie-Britannique élu 29e président de l’ACC

Harry Edwards first became involved in camping in 1970 at a faith-based camp in Ontario. In the more than 40 years since, he has directed camp programs, served on camp boards and led a national camping organization comprised of nine properties in seven provinces.

Since moving to British Columbia in 1997, Harry has been involved in the British Columbia Camping Association (BCCA) as well as the Fellowship of Christian Camps (FCC) B.C. He is currently the Executive Director of Stillwood Camp and Conference Centre located near Chilliwack, B.C., a position that he has held for the past fourteen years. During this time, he has implemented some 15 million dollars in capital and program improvements. Harry has served on the Conference Committee for the BCCA/FCC Annual Linked Conference during his time at Stillwood.

Harry Edwards is a sincere, committed, capable camping leader whose broad experience prepares him to serve our national organization well in this time of transition and growth.

Harry Edwards œuvre dans le milieu des camps depuis 1970, époque à laquelle il travaillait pour un camp à caractère religieux en Ontario. Dans les 40 dernières années, il a dirigé des camps, siégé à des conseils d’administration et dirigé un organisme national présent dans sept provinces.

Depuis qu’il a déménagé en Colombie-Britannique en 1997, Harry s’implique dans l’Association des camps de la Colombie-Britannique (BCCA) ainsi que le Fellowship of Christian Camps (FCC) de la même province. Il est présentement directeur général du Stillwood Camp and Conference Centre situé près de Chilliwack (C.-B.), poste qu’il occupe depuis 14 ans. Pendant cette période, il a dirigé des projets d’investissement de 15 millions $ en immobilisations et en amélioration de programmes. Harry a aussi fait partie du comité de la conférence annuelle conjointe de BCCA/FCC.
