[:en]For the ninth year, CCA partners with Andrea Koehle Jones, Executive Director, ChariTree Foundation, to offer free seedlings to all Canadian camps. Planting a tree is a powerful way to teach kids that they have the power to make Canada and the world a better place. Click (link) for the full details on how to participate.

This program is open to all Canadian camps, including camps that planted trees in previous years. We urge all camps to participate and to benefit from the program while celebrating Canada’s 150th birthday.

Ordering
By April 10, 2017, contact your provincial representative (listed below) and place your order including the number of trees and the location where they will be planted. You may choose to plant between 40 and 800 trees. Andrea accesses the tress from nurseries in each province; therefore, the seedlings are suitable for growing conditions in your province. The trees are usually packed in packages of 20 in cardboard boxes.
Delivery
You will be notified by your representative precisely when and where the trees are available for pick up in your province (the date will be within the last two weeks of June). Andrea’s commitment is to deliver the total order for each province to one location, which is chosen by the provincial representative. Your representative will notify each participating camp of this location prior to submitting your order to Andrea. Each camp is responsible for collecting their order from this location or pre-arranging to pay for delivery to their campsite. Andrea has found that Greyhound bus is the least expensive way to ship seedlings. If you do not receive your seedlings on the expected date, please notify your provincial representative.
The trees may be stored in a dark, cool place for a maximum of two weeks before planting.

The camp agrees to:

Go online promptly and acknowledge the receipt of their trees directly to Andrea. Andrea needs this information to satisfy her donors that their contribution is being used wisely and assists her in seeking future donations. To access the ChariTree Feedback form visit Charitree-Foundation.org. Camps that do not meet this obligation will forgo the opportunity to access trees in future years.
Plant their trees with their campers within two weeks.
Water the seedlings if the weather is dry.

Commande
Communiquez avec votre représentant provincial (indiqué ci-dessous) d’ici le 10 avril 2017 pour passer une commande, en prenant soin d’indiquer le nombre d’arbres et l’endroit où ils seront plantés. Vous avez le choix de commander de 40 à 800 arbres. Puisqu’Andrea commande les arbres de pépinières dans chaque province, les semis sont adaptés aux conditions de culture de votre région. Les arbres sont habituellement livrés dans des boîtes de carton contenant 20 arbres.
Livraison
Les arbres seront livrés au cours des deux dernières semaines de juin. Vous serez avisé par votre représentant de la date exacte et du lieu de cueillette dans votre province. Andrea s’est engagée à livrer l’ensemble de la commande de chaque province à un endroit, qui est choisi par le représentant provincial. Les camps sont responsables de chercher leur commande à cet endroit ou d’organiser la livraison vers leur camp. Selon l’expérience d’Andrea, le moyen le moins cher de livrer les semis est par autobus Greyhound. Si vous ne recevez pas votre commande à la date prévue, veuillez en aviser votre représentant provincial. Les arbres peuvent être entreposés dans un endroit sombre et sec pour un maximum de deux semaines avant d’être plantés.

Responsabilités des camps participants:

Accuser réception des arbres dans les plus brefs délais directement auprès d’Andrea (cette démarche se fait en ligne au Charitree-foundation.org ; les camps qui manquent à cette obligation deviendront inadmissibles au programme à l’avenir); Andrea a besoin de cette information afin de confirmer aux donateurs que les arbres sont utilisés à bon escient et solliciter des dons à l’avenir.
Planter les arbres avec leurs campeurs dans les deux semaines suivant leur réception.
Arroser les semis si le temps est sec.
